Hub-link will try to reconnect automatically. When you say set offline, do you want to tell hub-link to stop trying to connect to a specific hub or start trying to connect?
Equivalent to checking/unchecking the box beside the address here?

i would like it so if a hub has been offline say for a day or so think it would have it unticked but if then the hub comes back online agen the we have to wait for the host to tell it to reconect would be nice if you could have a command to tell it to connect agen
and eg for the disconnect on so if someone is spaming a hub then could tell it to turn it off so we dont have to mute it in every hub |

So you actually want two things.....
1. DISABLE HUB {#} - If currently connected then Disconnect. Uncheck the hub so Hub-Link will not attempt to re-connect.
2. ENABLE HUB {#} - If not currently connected the Connect immediately. Check the hub so Hub-Link attempts to re-connect dropped connections.
Seems doable.... let me look at the code. I will create it as a NetAdmin level command but improvements in the flexibility of the commands will make it possible for the host to determine who has access to this command in a future version, possibly the same release. |

| That looks like a very useful feature. Let us know when you have it done, so we can test it. |

It's working well... unless of course you disable the hub you are on..... I wonder if I should add an edit to prevent that... |

| I'm finishing a batch of changes and then I'll release it. There are a lot of changes needed to make a four year hiatus worthwhile..... |

Is there a link to the changes in the upcoming release?
Im loving your commitment (albet time constrained by needing to make a living) to this project. myself and some friends will be using this in a project we are getting off the ground soon.
Is there going to be support in it to allow users to see each other in the connected users area and get each others file lists? |

It has done that since Version 1.03 *Beta 3* January 25th, 2004 if you were using a hub with a support script (which meant NMDC or SDCH back then, and will mean DDCH or PtokaX in the next release)
I hadn't thought to post the unreleased changelog but it's not a bad idea, watch here for updates.... http://hub-link.sourceforge.net/changelog.html |
